HUMMINGBIRDS
The male rufous hummingbird arrives the last part of March to stake out a territory. At our cabin we toss red towels, life vests, and anything else that is bright, onto the railing of the porch so that OUR CABIN will attract the most males.
I also tell my husband that I can't wash the windows because the poor babies might fly into one and get hurt.
