Viking of Norway’s Nordlys Sock Yarn is a fingering weight wool yarn, with gorgeous colors that fade over long stretches. It is made from 75% wool and 25% nylon to provide strength. 

Nordlys is inspired by Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, and is just as breathtakingly beautiful. It looks beautiful in colorwork patterns as the shades slowly shift from one to another. The nylon reinforcement means your socks won’t wear out after just a few wears.
